Dr. Nekia Staley
Dr. Nekia Staley-Neither, DDS is a dentist, entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, and healthcare leader committed to expanding access to compassionate care. A graduate of Spelman College and Howard University College of Dentistry, she also completed a DECOD fellowship at the University of Washington, specializing in dental care for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Since 2004, Dr. Nekia has owned and operated dental practices in Prince George’s County, Maryland, while advancing her expertise in implant dentistry, orthodontics, airway management, and facial aesthetics. She is also the founder of Special Care for Special Needs Dentistry (SCSND), a nonprofit that provides mobile dental services, caregiver education, and community outreach for underserved and special needs populations. Through her coaching and leadership work, Dr. Nekia helps healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs build purpose-driven practices that combine clinical excellence, community impact, and sustainable growth.

An expert in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Practice Management, Healthcare Compliance, and Dentrix, DeVon leads a high-performing team dedicated to helping practices maximize revenue and operational efficiency. She is also a sought-after speaker and practice coach, sharing actionable strategies with dental teams to streamline billing, optimize workflows, and improve financial performance. Beyond her professional work, DeVon is deeply committed to the nonprofit sector, serving on the board of Special Care for Special Needs and as Chairwoman of the Board for People for Change Coalition. A lifelong learner with a zest for life, she enjoys swing dancing, traveling, and exploring new experiences that inspire both her work and personal passions.
